Flexible Security Features & Benefits

ASM Self Service has built in security options to increase verification checks based on the End User security group they belong to. Administrators can allow/disallow password update and reset access by Security Groups, can increase the number of one-time-passcode verifications required to access password update or reset, and can also set the application to automatically increase the number of one-time passcodes required to use the system based on the number of available verification channels available, which include: Corporate Email, Alt-Email, Mobile Phone, Voice Phone, and Standard TOTP Tokens.

Access to ASM Self Service is governed by aPersona Adaptive Security Manager Policies which provide GEO Country Fencing and Active Threat Actor Fencing, along with a Behavioral/Adaptive Initial Access Verification that prevents hackers from guessing passwords, since no passwords are checked without first passing an initial behavioral/Adaptive Access Verification.

Real-Time Password Breach Verification

aPersona’s ASM Self Service, is enabled to check the global HaveIBeenPWND Password Breach Database containing all of the current breached passwords from over 8.5B breached accounts before allowing passwords to be updated.
